7+ weeks and still having pain peeing

Hi Girls: I am 7 weeks post-op and I am still having alot of pressure and pain when I pee. I was originally treated for a UTI when I first came home from the castle. When I went for my 6 week check up I told the doctor that I still was having a problem peeing, so he did a urine culture. Everything came back fine. I hate to go to the bathroom. I don't know where to go with this now? Anyone else feeling the same way?

I also had bad bad pain after my surgery. Dr said that the bladder get brusied from all the movement going on in there. I was also treated for a UTI after. I hated to Pee. It took about 4 mos. before I was pain free when going. Drinking tons seemed to help with the infection, but not the pain. Good Luck and I hope you are feeling better soon.

Have you tried Azo-Septic? It is a pill you can get over the counter that is specifically made to treat pain of the urinary tract. It also goes by the name Pyridium but you need a prescription for that. I tried it when I had the same symptoms and not a thing grew out on my culture either but this stuff did work for me. Aloha, Kai
