Tummy Tuck

Hi

without prior knowledge, my surgeon had a plastic surgeon attend and cut off excess skin from my tummy. He did not tighten the muscles ,but just cutting the skin off has made a big difference.

I have read other posts of princesses who have had a full tummy tuck during surgery. It sounds as if theirs were pre arranged prior to surgery.

Good luck.

I had a FTT and MR with my SAH on Aug. 12. I'm very happy I did. I had lost 85 lbs. and had a horrible looking tummy. Now it's very flat and tight. :-)

I had to pay an additional $4,900. out of pocket for this.

I also had a TT with my TAH. Cost to me was 6500. Worth every penny.

I joked to my doctor about that and she told me no way! Something about liability and how one major surgery is enough without adding more......

Although if they could cut off some of that extra skin that I have from having kids I would not be upset. lol

Tummy Tuck

I had a partial - more or less a removal of the lower roll. The incision goes from hip to hip & my OB/GYN did it. It made the healing process considerably less difficult, as there was no longer a lump of skin hanging over the incision. It cost me an extra $1,500. and possibly some additional anesthesia time. I won't know till the bill comes. It may take me some time to pay it off, but what can they do, tack it back on?

Yes my incision goes from hip to hip also. I am just thankful that i did not have to pay for this additional 'service'. I am very grateful that my surgeon asked the plastic surgeon to join her and do it.

Having that extra roll off has made so much of a difference.
