dVH/RALH: scheduled for Tues!

Just looking for some feedback on RALH. Actually got to see and try the robot at an exhibit a couple of weeks ago. Surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am planning on coming home that day...YIKES

I didn't have a robotic hysterectomy, but there are quite a few members around here who did! You aren't alone! Hopefully, someone will be along to share their story soon.

i had a davinci-bso with vag. removal 10 weeks ago... i ended up with 6 incisions, some have 4... it seems some women bounce back fairly quickly and others take longer and pain just depends on the person... i personally think it depends on what your dr does inside that makes a difference... i stayed the night, but my dr does that for all his davinci's... i could only lift 5lbs for 2 weeks, couldn't drive until 2 weeks (did at 3), no sex for 8 weeks (waited all 8 too)...
