Tomorrow is 3 weeks...Now the Cramping begins?
So tomorrow is my three week landmark. Last Monday I had a good appt. with my doc...she said everything was clear and set up an appt. for June 21st to do internal exam.
A few days ago I started getting crams on right side (I have my ovaries and right ovary was often an issue with cysts, etc. but the doc didn't remove it as she said it looked "great" during surgery).
The cramps have become more intense and now I am back to taking Advil (took little to no pain medication from the fourth day after surgery). I am doing more...but don't think I am being crazy and am definitely resting a lot and going much slower than my usual pace.
So now I am all dressed up for church (that started an hour ago...may go for coffee hour just to see people) and wondering what the heck is going on. I did read through a bunch of threads here and think maybe ovulating? Maybe I did overdo it? I don't know. Anyhow I am hoping to get some answers or encouragement from my sisters. Thanks girls!

You could be ovulating or passing some stitches which would be about right for some at 3 weeks post op. How are you feeling today?

Re: Tomorrow is 3 weeks...Now the Cramping begins?
Thanks for the reply Molly. Today I was having a lot of pain on my right side again and kind of felt sick from it. Most of it was cramping kind of pain but sharp twinges thrown in here and there. I made myself take a total day off (as opposed to the little field trips walking and driving I've been doing). Feet up, tv, computer, reading, took a nap. Listened to the birds outside my window chirp about my recovery ha ha.
I guess I just got nervous that I might have something else wrong but the pain has not gotten any worse and I don't have a fever or anything. I have no stitches inside as my doctor used a harmonic scalpel but I know there is lots of healing still needing to happen. Hopefully I will notice a change as the week goes on. Thanks again for your kindness.
