I am home

Hi to all. Well, my surgery was last Fri. and I got to go home Sat. night. Pee'd on my own, so no cath. to go home with. I had passed gas that evening so I got real food all day Sat. starting with breakfast. The only thing I really had a problem with was I felt confined in the Hosp. I couldnt move cause the cath. was on the right and my IV on the left, I had the plastic air leg boots on, so I was going crazy. I did throw up about 3 times and thats when I sat up the first few times. I took a pain med. when I got home and that was the last one I needed. I started having BM's yesterday. I was up walking the first time at about 3am sat. morning. My butt is the only thing that is kinda sore, so I walk like a stick is stuck up there, ha.

Glad to know all went well! Take care and do not over exhaust yourself. After my surgery, I was feeling so good the third day that I started doing small tasks. I pay the price later for my failure to follow doctor's advice.
