2 hour countdown till bowel prep

The time is approaching...
Feeling pretty weak right now due to continued heavy blood loss, but I know I will get through this...
Good thing I had a big carne asada burrito last night!

You crack me up!
I ate some dark dark chocolate cake for breakfast and then complimented myself on the spectacular blackness effect it will have on my future poo.

Well all I can say right now is that this magnesium citrate is disgusting and has me on the verge of throwing up... sorry, don't want to create dread for anybody else, but am super taste sensitive and well, it's just not my flavor of choice...
My hubby is taking over with the kids and my Mom is here doing my laundry, and I am grateful for a loving, supportive family....
This time tomorrow, I will have no more debilitating, handi-capping, life-limiting periods, and I will be on my road to recovery and getting back into the game of life without the monthly obstacles...

My big day is tomorrow too. I had no cake or burrito. I was put on clear liquids all day today.
No fair! Just drank my Magnesium Citrate too-Ugh....
disgusting! I was practically throwing it up. Now the fun begins. My mom is coming to take the kids(they are more scared than I am). Then, hopefully I will get some sleep before I head to the castle. Have to be there at 6am.

No food at all today... burrito was last night's meal...:-)
My hubby is bbqing right now for the kids and if it wasn't for the total nausea I feel from the magnesium citrate, I'd be really wanting some...
I was only able to get a bottle and a half down of that crap...disgusting!!! YUCK! I just had to say that!
Here's to a good night's sleep for both of us...

Barbeque sounds so good! I couldn't stand the thought of the smell of food- sent hubby and the kids to Taco Bell and had a few quiet moments to myself.....to run to the bathroom. I'm not sure I will be getting much sleep tonight, but its strange, I don't feel too anxious. Just want to get it done at this point.

Hey this is a great post! I dont have to start mine until Sunday, so while Hubby and daughter are at church, I will be in the bathroom. I told them to pray for me while they were there. I am starting to take stool softners this week though, and Saturday I am going to eat light. Hopefully I wont have a full day on the thrown!! Good luck to everyone! Hang in there! Oh Where do I buy that stuff? Walmart? Walgreen? what is it called again?

I will be posting my story in the post-op area, but wanted to get back to you on you question about the name of the liquid I had to drink for my bowel prep. It's called magnesium citrate and I found it at Target in the pharmacy section...
