Happy days are coming for you poor princesses

Well tomorrow will be exactly six weeks since my TAH. I've resumed work officially from today - and I feel great. It's amazing how our body heals when you rest and follow your doctor's advice. So you two and three week princesses - trust me - you will be singing like me soon.

Yesterday is two weeks out for me and it feels as if it has been a month already and I am getting so frustrated with feeling this way adn my family seems to have forgotten that I still need help.

Its very encouraging to read your post Petal2006. I am 3 weeks post op today and it has got to have been my worst day so far! So if at 6 weeks I shall feel as good as you, there is hope on the horizon. Thank you for the encouragement, I needed it!

Today is the 2 week mark for me and I'm doing pretty good...I was released to go back to work (office job) as I feel up to it. I am sooooo glad to have some "purpose" in my life again! I was really getting tired of just doing nothing all day...it's good to be able to take care of some things myself and feel needed again! I'm still taking it slowly and I'm looking forward to the all clear sign in a few more weeks so I can begin my brand new life...free from pain and mean old aunt flo!!!!!! Thanks for the encouragement!

whoo hoo, thank you petal2006 for that upbeat post. That is such wonderful news. I am so looking forward to that feeling of total independence. It feels so far out of reach right now and seeing your post just made it appear closer. 2 more weeks for me. I do notice a wee bit of a difference each day that I DONT OVER DO IT that I am feeling better and better. Today I rested well again and I feel great.
