I am Home

Hi there...I had my surgery on Friday and was in recovery in less than two hours....I came home yesterday and they alll helped alot...I am some what sore and I am sleeping on the couch.....It is easier to get up and down..I walked alot by myself yesterday around the hospital they were amazed I said you will do anything to get back home..My uterus was hard as a rock when he took it out....He said my ovaries where under my colon and the tube from the kidneys to the bladder was being smushed and alot of things where smashed..I had a real bad case of endormetriois and he said it would have ended up doing alot of damage if I would have waited....

thank god i did it when I did...But yeah I am home and doing good...The waiting before is the hardest..I finally had my first true meal yesterday for lunch.....Thanks you for everything to expect...Only one question is it normal to have a little drainage???Not red just a tiny bit too......

Jodie

Welcome home! Sounds like you're doing well, and you're an encouragement for those of us who are going to the castle soon. I can't speak from experience, yet, but if you have drainage concerns, please call your dr.

Rest and take care!

I am Home

Welcome home,

Glad you are doing so well! I agree that if you have any concerns regarding your drainage, please call the doctor to be on the safe side.

However, I recall the nurse telling me that the amount of drainage varies from person to person and from activity to activity.

Take Care and please remember to get lots of rest!

Welcome Home Jodie

I am glad to hear that you are home, and doing well.
I agree with Soulfoul, you should contact your Doctor about any concerns that you have. However in my case, I had drainage for about the first 4 weeks, it was mostly only when I wiped. My drainage was longer than some, because I had some healing problems.
Be sure and get lots of
Enjoy being Pampered.
Take Care

I'm home too

I also had my surgery on the 26th and was happy to get out of the hospital yesterday. I think I'm doing pretty good and definitely won't do anything to jeopardize my recovery. Wednesday I get my staples out. Just can't wait until these gas pains go away. Dr said I was a real mess inside and he really had alot of work to do. Thank God it's over. I want to thank everyone who prayed for me and for all the wonderful support I have received online. Will be going on the post-op side soon to find out how all the 26th Princesses are doing.
