meds from home

I bought my 'other meds' from home that I take on a daily basis. The nurse commented that was a good idea or I'd be charged for theirs. I just kept them with me.

Hi, that is a good idea - when the hospital allows it. It's always a good idea to call and ask what is permitted and not ahead of time. I also perfer to take my own meds too

Also, remember to give any meds that you take to the hospital to the staff and let the nurses administer them. You really don't want unnecessary complications because of a misunderstanding about meds. Don't take anything that the dr or nurses don't know about.
