I'm having the same exact surgery as you are... maybe it will even be the same date!

I have multiple fibroids, one around 6cm, 54 w/ reg. periods, heavy bleeding, painful clots, weak all the time almost, pain where the fibroid is( dull to sharp). Pee a few times at night unless i take a sleeping pill. any of this sound familiar?

I'm scared, too!..
But.. at MY age.. I can't wait to stop my periods and be DONE.

Congrats on your upcoming LSH surgeries. I think the decision making process can be the hardest part sometimes!!

And, it sounds like you two ladies have done your research and checked out alterative options and different types of hysts.

And being scared?? It's a normal feeling. I was REALLY scared. And in post-op, I realized it was worth every single moment of panic and doubt.

Just in case you are still on this site, cindybd, I'm wondering who that dr in Philly was. I'm in Philly and am attached to my uterus as well. At least for a couple more years.
