Do you think searching the Internet will take me to a lot of places I don't want to go? Is there a way to word a Search that would make it more of a 'medical-aim' rather than a 'sex-toys' aim?
There's a standing joke in the UK ... "No sex please, we're British!" You've given me a bit of a giggle thinking about a big red light flashing above our little island ...

If you can tell me where all the regular stores are, I'd love to know!

Congrats on finding what you're looking for ... hope all goes well, but be careful.

well, I don't profess to actually KNOW that Britain has these stores.... they appear in many novels that I have read! Maybe they don't really!

I have just read your thread with some interest and a suggestion. For some it is embarassing to talk about such personal things but please don't feel that way with us Hystersisters, we're all in the same boat!!
It sounds like pain is also an issue during sex. I had a similar problem due to another reason. My Gyn prescribed Lidocaine cream. I applied some to the inside of my vagina 1/2 hour before, being careful to avoid that "certain spot" so as not to kill all feeling, if you know what I mean. It worked well and made it more tolerable, even enjoyable again. Why not talk to your Dr? It can be embarassing but this is what he gets paid to do. Life is too short to not enjoy the physical part of love in marriage.

There are many sites to get advice from that do not contain pornography and even some Christian/religious sites that can give information according to your personal believes. Certain things just feel good and there's no shame in enjoying it. Our bodies were designed to experience pleasurable sensations!! I hope you find what you need and have the privacy you desire!

I would rather go to the internet than talk to someone else about it or get caught in a store!! Have you heard of For Ladies Only?

maybe you should have your DH put his fingers up there and stretch and wiggle them a little ,then that way it will feel good and your getting the job done.

Toys are good.....

Hi there, don't be embarrased about the need for a toy, it's completely natural, not to mention fun!
A discreet way to look is to get a Cosmopolitan (type)magazine (they publish lots of countries), these often have website ads in those back sections with all the small ads crammed on the page. These website sales are very discreet with postage friendly packaging. You can order online and the company name on the package is generally the obscure company name not the obvious business name, so no-one can tell!
Sounds like a use it or lose it idea to keep vaginal elasticity up. Some TMI advice, the "Pearl Bird" varieties of toys are WONDERFUL! Get some 'toy cleaner' spray as well so it is always safe and clean.

Happy Hunting!

I always thought I would be embarrased to get one of "those things" the toys - but let me tell you something - they are fantastic! I hope what you have ordered gives you and DH nights of wonderful lovemaking! It did for us!
Take care!

I went to an Adult store for the same thing recently, and here's the funny part. I have a bumper sticker on the back of my truck that says, "What part of thou shalt not do you not understand?-God" I go in there, find what I want, and go to pay for it. The women working at the counter told me it was ladies day, so I get 20% off. But their computers were down, and in figuring the 20% off on paper, it took them 20 minutes! I decided if there is a next time, I'm parking in back, cuz that bumper sticker bothered me!

wow .... what a lot of great support!

Here is an interesting thing that happened yesterday while I was here 'talking' to you all:

I went to tootimid.com and was ordering a 'toy'. At almost the same moment I was doing that, my hubby was at work, and was helping a local woman design her new business cards. She works at something called "Spice It Up" -- some kind of 'toy' party deal. He talked w/ her about them, but said maybe we'd be too shy to attend.

He told me about this when he came home for lunch about 20 minutes later, and I told him "go for it!"

I didn't tell him about the toy yet -- I want to surprise him.

I will check about the lidocaine, BUT -- the pain is actually in "that spot" ....I think it's just going to take some time to stretch.

thank you all!
