One year after - bleeding and periods!

One year ago I had a robotic - left cervix and ovaries. I've had some "periods" since but it is getting worse. Bleeding, cramps, breasts are sore! How can this be?
During surgery (5 hours) left a large hematoma that had to be drained. I still have upper RS pain.
Dr. says everything is OK but I don't think so. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?

Thanks!

Maybe a second opinion? I'm sorry you're hurting and I hope you get relief soon!

Re: One year after - bleeding and periods!

I don't know how true this is, so please don't quote me. But before my surgery my doctor gave me some literature to read about hysterectomy. One of things it mentioned was that "some women continue to have menstrual bleeding since the retained cervix is attached to a small remaining portion of the uterus". Do you think this could be what is affecting you? And definitely doesn't hurt to get a second opinion. Sorry you are hurting! Good luck!
