Great OB/GYN

Good morning all!

I posted last week, and was in a lot of pain, and today it has all subsided, and I a m feeling well, except that I am a bit worn out from all the pain. I am blessed with so many good things in life and this site has been one of them. What a great place to get great support.

On this site we read alot about all of the doctors that do not listen to us when we know our bodies, and we know that someting IS wrong. We seek out as many opinions as we can until FINALLY someone listens, understands and helps. Well I really wanted to say that I have one of those Doctors. They are out there they really do exist. I too went thru about 3 doctors until I found one that would help me and work with me.I guess it helps that I work in a hospital, and that I have worked on the L&D unit, and I currently work in the Emergency department. I have had the opportunity to get to know them on a professional level, and on a personal level. Yesterday at work I was feeling realy crummy, and by chance my GYNE was on. I bumped into her and she immediatly noticed I wasn't feeling well. She has a great sense of humour! She said "Sarah, you look like S*#*. How can I help you?" I immediatly laughed, and then cried. She listened to me, and then gave me a pain killer of some sort (I really didn't care what it was as long as it helped!). She reassured me so much, and rubbed my back. Oh my god, what a wonderful woman.

My wish is that all of the women here can find someone like my doctor; someone to listen and help you all. Someone with compassion, and knowledge.

I am looking forwad to my TAH on23/10/06, and wish it were sooner, but I have great comfort in knowing that I have a great GYNE who really cares and will help me anytime I need it.

Hang onto that doctor!! It is so hard to find one like that,I went through a couple myself.Got lucky,and give thank's for my good fortune.Glad you're feeling better,take care.

thats wounderfull..i too found a great doctor.you make sure you hold on and we will all be here waiting for to meet us on the other side..ps the waiting the worst...
