2 days post hysterectomy: Can't walk and stand up straight

Good morning. This is day 2 after my surgery. I am finding it extremely hard to walk and stand straight up. My tummy area is numb and itchy. Is this normal and when we'll I be able to return to normal?

That all sounds quite normal. Right after my surgery I was bent over from the waist, it's a natural instinct to protect your insides and sutures seem tight to start with, but you'll be able to straighten up soon.

The area of my tummy incision is still partially numb after 7 months, but the itching should pass soon.
