Wow! A Day to Celebrate!!

Guess what!

I am one week post op, and today has been filled with good things:

I stopped my percocet today, and so far, it really isn't an issue at all. I still have a few just in case, but am hopeful I won't need them.

I put on a pair of jeans today. I am so sick of stretch pants! They may not last too long, but they feel good right now.

I thought about it, and today should have been the first day of my period. WOOO HOOO!!! If I had champagne, I would have a toast.

Life is filled with small victories, and these are good for me right now! Have a great day everybody!

Wow! A Day to Celebrate!!

congrats on all your small victories!!!

celebrate the little things! celebrate the big things! celebrate life!

its a lot easier to celebrate when your uterus isn't trying to protrude out of
one's vagina....... i think anyway..

even though i am still in pain.... i think it is less than the constant pain and pressure i had before....

and now the only pressure i have is gas.....

hugs,
jamesgirl

That's awesome to hear!! It is a great day. I too put on my jeans today and they fit!! Of course I'm 4 weeks post, I didn't even attempt at 1 week. Congrats to you!!! I only wore them to the store and that was enough for now...but it's a start Happy healing ((Hugs))

OMG! I still can't get into my pre-op jeans and regular pants. I hate you guys! (Just kidding.)

I'm still pretty , right above my (modified bikini) incision and any pre-op pants I own are too tight. I tried on some larger sized pants out of stretchy material, but they feel uncomfy after a few minutes. I can't imagine keeping them on for hours!
I'm so tired of sweat pants.

I remember those little victories and good for you. Don't do too much too soon; you only get 1 chance to heal properly. You can find several ladies on here who did too much too soon and regret it.

On the hand, be happy and keep healing well. I'm really glad for you!!!!!
