5 weeks post hysterectomy and BSO: Pimples? From Hormones?

I'm 5 weeks out from a TAH. Every thing is gone from the ovaries to the cervix. I've been on Estradiol since I left the hospital. I just started experiencing hot flashes in the last few days. Now I'm getting pimples on my face. I have never had pimples. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal but to me it is just adding to depression. What else can I expect?

I am not on HRT but also have pimple issues. Grrr. Skin was SUPER dry after surgery but face has become greasy and pimply and I am not normally like this.

It seems like my face and hair are super oily. Doesn't matter how often or what I use when I wash them. This is crazy.

I too have turned into a zit face. What next? Don't tell me, I enjoy the little surprises - NOT!!!

Same problems as you. I do believe that the pimples are from the beginning of menopause.

I have had a few pimples, I have a huge one on my hip, that was there from 1st week and was bruised the size of a nickel around it, 3 weeks in I popped it, it bleed so bad it was running down my leg, had to put a bandade on it, now at week 5 it's still bruised size of a dime and has a scab.. Never had this happen before
