just a few questions

Hello I am new here. I am 40yrs old and have two beautiful grown daughters. Had a Hysterectomy 10/17/05, everything was removed but my left ovary. Will I go through any type of menopause with only one ovary? Why do I have pain every time I urinate? And when will my swollen belly go down?

With one ovary you will still go thru natural menopause. If it had been removed than you would be in surgical menopause.

You are still fairly early post op, but I would give the doctor a call if you're still having pain when urinating. I had pain for the first few weeks but it gradually let up.
