when do the baby urges stop?

hey all i am new to the site had my surgery 2 years ago. just wondering when does the urge to have a baby go away i am 25 years old and am ready to just shut myself away in my room and not come out.when i have tried to talk to my husband about it he just says well get over just get over it.i am trying to get over it but in the past few months i have 5 friends that have gotten preggers and its not making it easy.am i just being a whinning baby about things or is it normal to feel like this?

I'm sorry you're having these feelings. I think it's probably normal for you to have these feelings, especially at your age. Have you considered adoption? Have you had counseling or would you consider it? Maybe there are other ladies on the site who may be having or have had the same feelings that could offer better advice.

I see by reading your profile that you are a mother of two, so having a twinge of envy and feeling let down when around others who are expecting seems perfectly normal to me. If you enjoy being a mother, mourning the loss of being able to bear further babies is understandable.

I hope that, with the passage of time, you are able to enjoy seeing others experience the magic of reproduction without feeling your own loss for the size of family you had planned.
