My Pre-Op Woes!!!

Hello everyone! Well, in 9 hours I will leave for the castle! I had a very eventful pre-op day today!

This morning I went to fill out paperwork and pure register. Before I could finish with registration, someone brought me paperwork to fill out. I was finished with registration, began filling out my paperwork and the lady who gave me the papers to fill out, brought me a sheet of stickers, telling me to go to the lab and have my labs drawn.

So, off I go to the lab, waiting, filling out papers. I get labs drawn, head back to pure op, and a nurse is waiting for me. Still not finished with the paperwork! Weight, history, which is what the papers are for, med list, which the paperwork is for, EKG, v/s etc.

Finish the paperwork, go home to wait. Four hours later I get a frantic phone call. shortie, you're pregnant!!

Sorry, but that is physically impossible!! No, you are pregnant, they say.

I am 56, six years post menopausal, had my tubal ligation 25 years ago and haven't had sex for six years. I am not pregnant! So now, an ultrasound and second pregnancy test later, I am NOT pregnant, lol.

I'm glad you were goodnatured about that. And glad they figured it out today! I hope all goes smoothly from here on. Best wishes for an easy surgery and recovery.
