leaking is it normal

After surgery they pulled my staples out in 5 days and pu ton stri strips they are coming off especaialy where I have been leaking. Now its read and looks inflames. My Dr says that it looks good. Can anyone help me this is really concerning me because there is a gap now where the skin is not together. Please help

About a week after my surgery (TLH), my bottom incisions were red, and oozing fluid. My doctor had me clean it twice a day with hydrogen peroxide and try to keep it as clean and dry as I could. I also had a gap where one of the internal sutures poked through. Our bodies are pretty amazing and the gap with close up. If you are concerned about an infection (start running a fever) I would definitely give your doctor a call.
