Hi Cindy and Welcome to Hyster Sister

I'm afraid I can't offer any insight regarding the endo and depo issue, but I'm sure someone will come along with insight.

While you're getting acquainted with the site, I suggest that you check out the Pull-Down menus available at the bottom of the Hyster Sisters Home page. The "Ladies in Waiting" section is full of usefull information for those awaiting their day at the castle.

I also found the Princesses Tell Their Stories very informative when I was pre-op. All those stories, both the positive and the negative, helped me form a realistic view of what was ahead.

The road to the Castle can be long and bumpy, but we'll be right there with you, every step of the way.

Cindy, you'll do great!

Remember, during your recovery, to *rest a lot, drink a lot and walk a little* and *never, never overdo* no matter how good you start to feel. "Do only half of what you feel like doing."

I used a tip from this site that really helped me. Every morning for breakfast I have 4 "bite sized" prunes, a buttered bagel and a hot cup of tea. It works for me! Might be helpful for you, too.

You might want to bring your bed pillow to the hospital - it may be more comfortable for sleeping.

Hugs and prayers to you for a successful, uneventful surgery and a restful, complete recovery.

~Sue
