Still spotting at 3 weeks....normal?

This website has been so helpful!

But I'm worried about still spotting at 3 1/2 weeks after my TAH/BSO. Some days there is very little, some days a little more and I have to use a panty liner. Is this normal or should I call my dr.?

Hi

Welcome. Yes it is common to bleed/stain at 3 weeks postop. Are you feeling ok? If you are at unease it never huts to call your doc. Take care. Denise.

Still spotting at 3 weeks....normal?

Me too, I am into my 4th week, still spotting (not red or bright pink), need to wear a pad 24/7 but at least it is one of the THIN ones. I had a VH with a repair, my DR said I might be spotting for 2 months. Sigh. As long as this is my only compliant, I consider myself fortunate.

Thanks for your replies. I'm just impatient in wanting to heal and not have to wear protection. Overall, I am doing well. Of course, I still tire easily, but I am thankful for how far I have come (trying to keep a positive attitude)!

I also am 3 weeks and still bleeding, called the dr and all is well. Some of us bleed more or longer than others, its normal. Just be sure to call your dr if bleeding gets heavy or you develop other symptoms! Good luck I hope you heal well.
