Booked my trip to the castle and endless period..

Well even though the oncologist had good news I am going ahead with the surgery for other reasons and my date is July 13, whew! Yeah!!
I had a D and C last March in order to biopsy my uterine lining and I thought it might help with my heavy periods... well my first period was extremely light compared to before, but now in what I assume is my 2nd period, I have been bleeding for well over 2 weeks maybe 3. It has been much lighter then before as well, but gheesh!!
Just when it seems it is tapering off to nothing and I stop with the panty liners, I go to the bathroom and everytime I wipe there is a lot of bloody mucous. Then today cramps, and I am starting all over again. This is very new to me , my periods were never longer than 7 days or so, I am now going on 3 weeks.
I have fibriods and adenmyosis ( sp? ) I am 51. And she removed a polyp from my cervix. Bleeding after my D and C was very light and only lasted a few days.

Has anyone had this happen? Should I call my DR? It is not heavy at all. She has been wanting to do a hysterectomy for my heavy periods and she did warn me about excessive bleeding if I did nothing. Is this just a good example of why she recommended this? I have been to see her about 6 times and had all kinds of tests the last 6 months.
I also have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and some seem to think problem periods can be related.

Booked my trip to the castle and endless period..

Hi, I had a D&C along with a polypectomy a few weeks before my tah/bso. I bled for several days, it stopped and started again. I had been menopausal with no periods for 3 years. When I called my dr he wanted to see me again. I think that you should call andlet your dr what's going on with you. I feel that it's best to be cautious.

Also, would you please add your surgery date to your profile so that you'll be in that day's best wishes?
