Re: post op walking and OTC meds
At four weeks I was walking for 20-30 minutes at a time, at most... probably 3 or 4 times a week. I was still taking ibuprofen every 4-6 hours during the day and often Tylenol at night.
I'm just past seven weeks now and am up to walking 45 mins. at a time, trying to walk every day but the weather hasn't been very cooperative. I'm just taking ibuprofen "as needed" now, which is usually twice a day, sometimes three times.

Re: post op walking and OTC meds
Did you have same surgery as I had? Thanks for reply. I am walking 15 min this week and covering a little bit more distance daily by walking a tiny bit faster. Only walking at best 3 mph. I've been adding about a minute a day so each week adds about 5 min. I am about the same as you with advil and tylenol and some pm to help sleep some nights. My heating pad is my best friend. Today I feel more achy than past few days.

Re: post op walking and OTC meds
It has been 7 months post op for me, so I am walking 45 minutes a day, about 4 miles per hour. I burn off about 450-700 calories a day if I work harder or stay longer at the gym. I take an aspirin at night.
Hugs.
Keep on exercising. It is good for you.
