Thank You!

Thank you for responding.
Hubby, and family have told me I've lost my spark.
Chalked it up to getting older.
I will be so happy if it isn't true.
Thank you! So scared!!!

More energy after Hyst?

Initially after my surgery I did not have more energy - having a major surgery was hard on me - however, each week of recovery I felt better and better. By about 4 months post-op I was feeling great. I feel like a new person now - I have energy and stamina. I think the excessive bleeding and pain I had prior to surgery was zapping all my energy. Now I feel awesome.

More energy after Hyst?

Just remember....when we go into a hyster, we're not at 100%. If we were, we wouldn't be having surgery. It does take time to get that energy. I really feel that during our initial 6-8 weeks, we're just working on getting back to our pre-surgery health. The 6-12 months total healing time is when we're working our way up to 100% health. It isn't an overnight thing, but you will feel the difference each week, each month if you just have patience and let yourself heal correctly.

HERE'S HOPING !

I have been told I have chronic fatigue for seventeen years (although there is no definitive test that proves that ) and my prayer is that I don't and it's been this life long mess with endometriosis! I hear people say the same thing, I am afraid to get my hopes up but I know I have.

My mom did not have a hysterectomy but after menopause regained her energy .
AT 76 she volunteers at a grade school five hours a day, goes to exercise class and is busy with her church. I remember when she was my age, my parents bought a house and I was sixteen and had to paint the upstairs because she COULD NOT do it not matter how hard she pushed.
I hope you are so full of energy we have to sit you down !
I hope I do too!
