6wks and feeling achy esp after bath

It's now exactly 6wks and 1 day since op and so I decided I'd have a bath. I've been feeling bit more achey than usual over last 4 days or so, but when I got in the bath, I felt so uncomfortable that I had to get out after 5 mins. Is this normal? should I be concerned?

Did your doctor okay you for baths? I had a TAH, do not know what the timeframe for baths for a TVH is. You can always give your doctor a call just to be sure.

Thanks for your reply. When I left hospital I asked as I LOVE baths and am not that keen on showers and they said around 6wks. My consultant didn't actually even book me in for any follow-up appointment but I've booked myself in for a 12wk follow up app but didn't think I'd have to wait that long for a bath!!! I guess I'll have to now tho. My normal doctor isn't that great and I didn't really go through him to have the op. I saw a private consultant who also worked in the nhs so I had op done with private consultant of my choice free through nhs!!! But I've been feeling more achey over last wk than I thought I would but that's probably just cos I've been doing more and have been up and about more.
