Severe pain/pressure, taking "mini pill" and still having issues. Having hysterectomy for adenomyosis.

My doctor has given me the mini pill to stop my bleeding. It worked for about three weeks, and then I started to "bleed" dark, dark blood (kind of looks like tar--sorry for the TMI). I have bad cramping (doubling over at times). I constantly feel like I have to do a number 2, but it's just the pressure. Do any of you suffer from those pains?...or have continued bleeding?...and what did you do?

I was diagnosed with adenomyosis, and I feel like I'm on the verge of giving birth to a bowling ball. My surgery date is April 17th. I'm very nervous, but I'm looking forward to feeling better, too!

Yep I feel your pain, that's why I had my hysterectomy. Your welcome you read some of my posts. I no longer have that heavy " lead ball " feel in my tummy. I feel light, regaining my strength and restoring my life there's hope dear !

Hi, Cathy! Yes, sounds like we'll be going through this at the same time. As of right now, it's a TAH. I talked to my doctor yesterday, and she said my surgery would be 3-4 hours. I have bad adhesions (uterus to belly and uterus to bladder for sure ). I'm very nervous about the adhesions... We will have to stay in touch
