Has your hysterectomy helped your nails/acne

3wks PO come Monday. I've noticed that my nails are growing faster and stronger and my acne has almost vanished!! I'm not complaining by no means, I'm super happy about all this!
I had everything except 1 ovary removed.

Now that you mention it...yes. my nails are growing like crazy since surgery. Interesting. I wonder why that is. Does anyone know? I am not sure as far as acne goes since I dont suffer from that.

I was just thinking about that today. Mine were nicer than they had ever been. But....out at 9 weeks, they are getting back to their same old selves.

I was trying to decide which was the likely cause:

1) Not washing dishes, cleaning, or doing much of anything that could damage them,

2) The really healthy diet that I did pre-op and immediately post-op, or

3) The secret "nail Genie" that visited me at night.

I have had no noticeable hormonal changes.

Yes, just noticed today that my nails have grown beautifully since surgery and they feel super strong. I had uterus and fallopian tubes removed, kept cervix and both ovaries.
