TAH: Cyst discharge

I am scheduled for tomorrow morning @ 8:10, I have had a brownish discharge that I believe to be a leaking cyst. I am hoping I don't have to sit in the surgical gown without underwear! What if it is the cancerous cyst that is leaking? So very nervous and petrified of having surgery period.

I was supposed to get my period right at surgery time (I was so unpredictable it could be a week off either way). I asked my doc, and he said it didn't matter if I got my period, it would be the last one, and that if he waited until all his patients weren't bleeding or leaking, he'd seldom do surgery! I know they are prepared for most anything once you get there. Just tell them that you are leaking and they will give you something for it. Chances are that it won't matter, but make sure to let them know. I remember the night before my hysterectomy. I was nervous until I lay down to go to sleep, and I suddenly felt calm knowing that the next day, I was going to finally get the help I had needed for a long time. You'll be in my thoughts, and I bet it will go better than you think.
