4 weeks Abdominal incision pain
I was wondering is anyone having a burning or ripping feeling on their incision? I have a 6 inch verticle incision. Sometimes when I move OMG it feels like my incision just ripped wide open. My incision is dry, clean, a little red on the actual cut line but not bad no blisters or anything. A couple inches all around the area of the incision it feels like a sunburn, and tender to touch. My mother in law and DH say I should call the doctor. I don't want to bother her if this is normal. Funny how we tell everyone to go to the doctor, but we hesitate to go ourselves. Thanks for any input.

4 weeks Abdominal incision pain
Dear sister, Listen to your mom in law, DH, and self! Call your doc and get the reassurance you deserve!
I also had a TAH and nerve regeneration can really burn; but we are all different and need to listen to our bodies. Keep us posted and I'm sending from

Re: 4 weeks Abdominal incision pain
Thanks Romy I've been feeling this for a few days, but it seems like it's getting more painful at times. I'm back to taking pain meds that I haven't taken in over 2 weeks. I will put a call into the doctor in the morning.
