Things anyone forgot and realized at the castle

I have 10 days to go and I was wondering if anyone out there may have realized once they got to the castle that there was something they wished they had brought with them or something they wished they had done ( around the house) to prepare. I am thinking I will think of something once I am there that I wont be able to do or something I wont be able to run out and get. With Christmas just 2 days after I am afraid I am going to realize I forgot to buy a gift or ...I am a single mom and wont have a hubby to make a run for me anywhere...maddie

Things anyone forgot and realized at the castle

Hi Maddie,

The things I needed, and had to send my sister out to get when I got home, were gauze pads, cotton balls and peroxide to clean my incision. She also had to get my prescription for pain meds, I didn't go home with antibiotics.

Best of luck to you!!

Things anyone forgot and realized at the castle

Hi. One thing I loved at the hospital was lip balm, chapstick. something like that. My lips got so dried out. Also, take baggy clothing to wear home (and easy to slip on shoes).

I didn't have one, but everyone has talked about a body pillow (try Wal-Mart) for sleeping once you come home.

Good luck to you!
