Pre-op testing: Endometrial biopsy?

I was debating whether or not to post because I seem to be in the minority. I had my fist Endometrail biopsy when I was trying to get pregnant the first time. Now, I DO have trouble relaxing during a pelvic, and I have a herniated uterus which makes getting there a bit more difficult than normal. I was told to take advil ahead of time. The biopsy was very painful for me-I almost fainted. The cramping afterwards was unremarkable. My second time was last year prior to my RSO. It was to rule out endometrial cancer. I have since found out that it is not a reliable test for this since the biopsy is only good for the actual removed tissue. This time I took two valiums and needless to say had a ride home. It still hurt, but not as dramatically because I was a bit loopy. Good luck!!
