LAVH and Bladder sling

So, I am having both done. As I sit here and reconsider it all, I have serious stabbing pains from my right ovary and it reminds me that I may never have to feel that again..that definitely helps. Here is my question. I have ALWAYS had a discharge. My undies are always wet..I thought this was normal, until some friends told me they didnt experience this. So..after the hysterectomy will I still have this? Since I wont be going through the cycles..I learned alot about it when I was TTC..I have PCOS and ENDO and it was hard to concieve. But through your cycle you have different types of cervical mucous that can signal fertility...so since your not going through those cycles will that be gone? I wont know what to do without a panty liner all the time...That would be worth it alone!

Hi there! I have always had discharge of some sort as well. Just became normal-life to me.

Since surgery, I do not have that type of discharge anymore. Unfortunately, I do have a little bladder leakage now so still need those panti-liners.

I would always have the bladder leakage, but since my surgery and sling, I am dry for the first time in years. It is so wonderful!!!
