Whats My Face Doing?

OKAY I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH BREAK OUTS BEFORE......BUT I AM 5 1/ 2 WKS POST OP.......AND MY FACE IS BREAKING OUT ALL OVER WITH PIMPLES!

I HAD A TAH/BSO.......COULD THIS BE DUE TO A NO HORMONE THING?

I was going to ask the same thing--I am only 3 1/2 weeks post op and the same thing every week I am seeing a new pimple--I have never had this problem before--today I have one in the crease on my upper lip--GROSS!!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure whether this applies in your case, but pimples can be an effect of too much progesterone in relation to estrogen. Perhaps a temporary glitch while your hormones settle down?

I'm 2 wks post-op and my face is doing the same thing. I still have my ovaries. My DH was so cute he thought I got some sun but my cheeks are breaking out like gang-busters.

I'm right there with the rest of you. Woke up yesterday morning with one on my nose, one on my cheek, and one on my chin. They are not big, but they are there and at 36 I'm not excited about them. This morning I woke up to find a fourth one. I'm just glad they aren't big or really noticable, I was able to put some concealer on them that made it not so bad. Hopefully it's just the hormones still adjusting . . . I'm 6 weeks post op this week!

I'm glad I'm not alone! I feel like a teenager again with all the breakouts. I had a TAH/BSO and kept both ovaries, so I don't know why the acne.

I hope this doesn't last!

I am 10 weeks post op. I am getting acne no only on my face but my chest and neck. I'm 49 - come on now....give me a break. Normal?

The same thing happened to me. I think it was around six weeks post op. Luckily it was just a few small ones. And it didn't last long. But it took me by surprise. It's been awhile since I've had that problem. I'm also forty nine years old.
