new pain

YES....my surgery was on April 4th...1 day after yours. I had really been doing pretty good...I had no bleeding from the minute I came out of surgery then last weekend I started having those pains. When the really bad ones came I was doing nothing but laying on my bed taking a little nap. Some really hurt...then I went to the bathroom...I was bleeding! I freaked...almost 3 weeks at the time and then bleeding? It was not dark it was red...my dr was paged and she called me back and assured me I was fine unless the bleeding got worse but she expected it to stop. I told her about the pain and once again she did not seem alarmed by it. She said to take it easy. So for the next 3 days I did not do much and now I feel pretty good again.

new pain

(((jeanettr)))
If this is new pain that started in the night with nothing provoking it I think you should call and ask your dr about it. I can't say I had anything quite like that, but it doesn't sound right to me. If it is too low for gas, then something else must be going on. At 3 wks it isn't unusual to have some pain, but it is usually assoiciated with something you did. Are you having any other symptoms with this? Does it help to apply heat? You could try that, but without a more logical explanation I still think you should call your dr.
I hope you feel better soon. Let us know what you find out.

I am sorry....if I made you think you were fine and not call your dr...I agree and call your dr if for no other reason peace of mind. I was confused at why it happened to me and the bleeding suddenly and called her and I was totally hysterical! I had done nothing and it started with me. But as she said to just take it easy and after 3 days of basically doing NOTHING I felt much better. The bleeding was maining the big amount at once then it got smaller and by that Monday is had quit again. It happened on a Saturday. YES...CALL YOUR DR!
