Hangin in there 3 weeks post op

Hi Ladies,
I had 2 c sections about 20 years ago. My bladder was attached to uterus, so Dr. had a time rearranging it. I have alot of pain in middle of abdomen and don't really have any sensation to void other than if bladder hurts or it has been a couple of hours. Checkup is in 10 days, not sure if I should be concerned. Each time I void it hurts but no burning so don't think it is an infection. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Hi! I had the same bladder sensation after my surgery. Before surgery my fibroids were pressing on my bladder so I felt like I had to pee almost constantly. After surgery it seemed I couldn't tell when I needed to go. And after going, I could feel my bladder, like you said, not really terribly painful, but just a strange feeling. It has gotten better. You should be sure to ask your doc, but I think it is from the swelling and inflammation due to surgery. I read somewhere that the bladder is really, really "cranky" and it takes awhile for it to get back to normal after it has been disturbed. I would imagine that is especially true in your case.
