Pre op Yesterday (LONG)
Well I had my pre-op yesterday. He answered many of my questions before I even had to ask. I did ask the rest of my questions though. I tend to get all red and splotchy when I'm at the gyns (I have very fair skin) and I got even more red (and he commented on it) when I asked the dreaded "will you take a picture of my uterus for me" question! But, he said bring my digital and YES he would take pics for me!! So, I'll get pics of my dreaded female parts! I can't wait! lol What is sad is I don't even have hospital pics of my CHILDREN! lol
I'm not finished cleaning my "recovery room" I have to work all day today, then take dd to gymnastics, then finish my cleaning, do my dreaded enema and then *try* to get some sleep. I'm already up over an hour earlier today than usual... couldn't sleep...
As far as pre-op yesterday, I had the oldest shakiest man draw my blood. He really scared me! But, I'm not too badly bruised today. I also had to have a UA done. The old guy said it only took 10 drops... I couldn't get a SINGLE DROP out! lol I was in there for what seemed like forever without a single drop! lol I stood up, walked around in there, washed my hands twice... NOTHING! lol I ended up coming out with an empty container! lol They guy said he could use some of the blood he already drew to do it (it was just a pregnancy test). I was thinking, why didn't we just do that to begin with? lol
I had a friend who had the same doc do her hyst 3 months ago and he ordered an ekg on her (not me), he also told her to iodine douche the night before (not me)... Isn't that weird. I hope there wasn't some sort of mistake that might postpone things for me!
Well, I guess I've rambled on long enough...
TOMORROW'S MY BIG DAY!

You're not rambling! We all had that super nervous feeling as things got closer. Let everything else go at this point other than your nest because that is where you will be perched! Hope all goes well for you honey.
hugs

Moogiepet,
I actually saw 2 GYN/ONC and the first doctor wanted me to have a CT scan, chest x-ray, blood drawn and do a bowel prep the 2nd doctor just wanted the blood draw. I was forced by my insurance to use the 2nd doctor so I am really happy not to have to do the bowel prep! Everyone's situation is different. Good luck and speedy recovery!

I got my pics of my uterus and ovaries!! I'll share them in my photo section when I get dh to help me download them off of the camera!
He is the computer guru. I don't even try to learn those things anymore.

Maybe this is a dumb question but why did you want a picture? Just curious.
Hope all went well and you are feeling great soon.
