freaking out again!

lucybear,
I am sorry that you feel like you're being a baby......you are not! You are going through a very difficult time right now, this type of surgery is nothing to . We all are having a hard time dealing with this, but we can always lean on each other. I am glad your BF is there for you emtionally (and financially), I would not want you to have to deal with this alone especially since you have kids to handle as well.
Cry when you need to...and please know that we cry with you as well. No matter how long some of us have waited for the pain to end or how short the wait is for others; we all hurt emotionally from this decision....but we all come here. And please know that it will all be over soon and I'll be praying for you.

freaking out - join the club!

Huuuuuuuuuugs u little darling. This is a really scary time for us so we're allowed to cry and grieve and feel sorry for ourselves. I do daily!!! Thank God u have an understanding BF. If he volunteers to help financially, let him please! Kids? How old are they? They may NOT understand as they're used to their mum being strong and healthy, so it may be extra hard on them : ( which will be hard on u darling. Do u have a phone near your bed or a mobile you can wear around your neck so it's with u constantly? So if u get really worried u can phone someone or even just arrange to text someone a message 3 times a day to say u're ok - that's what I did last year when I broke my ankle, it helped. In Australia if u ask the dr for Acute Care for when u get home from hospital they arrange (low cost) visits from nurses etc. I had a free cleaner last year when I broke my ankle for 6 weeks! Ask around, check with community care groups etc and see what's available and ask your dr. We will be invalids and we DO have to take it easy after the op. Though, we will recover and be stronger than ever!!!! No more pain and gigantic periods. I cry often at the thought of my op approaching - u r not alone - huuuuuugs. My loving thoughts and prayers are for u and your loved ones. When my time comes I will be thinking of all the lovely ladies who are going through what I will be going through. Thank God for this site!
