caffeine addicts
I admit that I am addicted to caffeine, and when I don't get my morning cup of coffee, I get a spliting headache. The last few times I had to fast before a procedure, it was the headache which was the hardest part.
When I had my TVH I was instructed not to eat or drink anything after midnight. So, at 11:30, I made a pot of coffee. 
I expected my surgery to be at 9:00, but it actually didn't start until noon. One thing I did not have to deal with while waiting was a headache. That last cup of coffee really helped!
