Calling all Ladies-in-Waiting!

The bleeding and the pain while I'm waiting. I had already booked a trip to the US for April when I got the go-ahead for a TVH, so I have to wait till May for surgery.

I can't wait

I have 27 days to go and I am so excited to finally get this over. I always felt that the longest month of your life was the last one of a pregnancy, but this month might prove me wrong. I have had to put it off surgery three times in the last year and a half. I just finished my next to the last period, and you might know I was three days late. I'm never late unless I'm pregnant, so I actually got a test Saturday morning, just so I wouldn't worry. At this moment a baby would have been a miracle, with my tubes, etc., but I am ready to get on with the surgery and the rest of my life. I have had to work my life around pain for too long, and it will be wonderful to have some relief. Hang in there girls!

Calling all Ladies-in-Waiting!

Hello ladies, The worst part has got to be the waiting, and going through the next 2 periods I will have to endure, the next should be this weekend. I'm trying to get my house in order so I can just lay around all weekend. I've tried to put my moodiness into prospective and try not to overdramatize everything, exercising is really helping with that. My kids are getting the winter blahs, and all they talk about is spring and summer. I think I will try to get them to the Y next week some time, hope it will help.
I meet with the surgeon on 2/1, pre op on 2/10, surgery 3/17.
I'm anxious to talk to surgeon about HRT's. I really don't want to take them, but am afraid if I don't I'll go coocoo!!! lol Anyone else thinking about this?

Calling all Ladies-in-Waiting!

Don't feel bad bright eyes! My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am on Feb. 10th and I have to be at the hospital at 5 am! We live 45 minutes away so have to leave at 4:15 am! Yuck! I can't wait to get rid of all this though.
I have yet to find someone else going in on the same day, I can't be the only one on this site can I? I'm sure glad to get it overwith first thing though, I know the dr. will be fresh and not tired out already!

Calling all Ladies-in-Waiting!

19 days and one period to go. I had a dream last night about my last period and my hubby and i were dancing and singing about it and throwing around the left over tampons.

Calling all Ladies-in-Waiting!

I don't have my hysterectomy date, I have two more doctors to see before I get my date.

I'm seeing a gastro doctor this Monday and an urologist on Feb 16th then I get my date.

I have had endo for 16 years diagnosed and I have had symptoms for 20 years. I have had 4 laps, 1 laparotomy, and I have used bcp, depo, lupron, and danocrine.

I recently got a depo shot to get me through to surgery. I'm not sure if I'm going to get one more period or not. I hope not the last 6 months they haven't been easy.

I know it seems crazy, but I'm excited about getting the surgery and being able to move on with life with my husband, dogs, and our kitty.

Calling all Ladies-in-Waiting!

25 days...I have red X's on each day that passes...I was going to wait till April, but decided I didn't want to do that, so I am getting my moving done- moving to Downstairs apartment, the twenty steps up to mine would be brutal after my trip to the castle. Taking care of business that I can't or won't want to do after surgery. Days are moving along quickly.

Finding this site was a God Send. I am thankful everyday at the things I learn and the questions that I have that are answered.

When we ride on the motorcycle I really do WAVE AT COWS. I love them ... love to watch them. Hubby even took a cell phone picture of me next to someone's cow.
