for those of your with vertical ab incisions

I found a good use for those sanitary napkins! I attach one, vertically, to the front of my panties before I put my pants or skirt on. It adds a bit of cushioning that I really appreciate these days. Tuesday will be my week four, and I feel as if my incision area has woken up and isn't all numb anymore.
Makes for some additional feelings of ache and pain, but nothing an Advil can't manage.

Sue....I do the same. I went for my two-week check and staple removal this past Thursday, and when I pulled my undies down, the nurse saw my vertical pad and said "Good job!" I was using some leftover 'super maxi' size at first because that's what I had on hand. That extra padding/protection was wonderful while I still had the staples. Now that they're out, I've 'graduated' to a very thin long pad.

We are SO good!
