Another ultrasound in order

Okay, so went to the gyny today. Due to the continued swelly belly and the pain, I have to have another ultrasound done. There could be more fluid build up. Doctor also said, due to all my health issues, it could take 6-8 months to heal.

How frustrating..my hyst was August 17th, and still having problems. I am back to not wanting to bend again due to pain. Oh well, what can you do except continue to go to the doctor.

Hope all my other sisters out there are continuing their road to recovery.

I'm sorry to hear you're still in such pain. I hope the ultrasound yields the answers that will lead to your getting some treatment that will make things better for you. I can see that this would be frustrating, but getting the ultrasound might lead to improvement, and it sounds like you could surely use a good dose of that, right now. When will the ultrasound be? Keep us posted, okay?

I am so sorry another u/s. I am sorry you're enduring all these problems. I'm sure you having lupus has had something to do with it. We with autoimmune disorders, do take longer unfortunately to heal. I wish you all the best and that they finally get this straightened up.

I am with you in wanting to cry. I am not feeling so hot myself. I can't get rid of this gastrointestinal virus I have and today it has been 9 days since I got sick. I, too, have more abdominal pain, which I don't know if its surgery related or intestinal..driving me nuts. So we can cry together lol.

Keep the faith. God will get us through it all. We must not give up and continue to take care of us so we heal.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. The ultrasound is scheduled for next Wednesday. I am seriously thinking there is fluid again, due to the extended belly and the pain just sitting, standing, blah, blah.

Oh well, I keep the faith!
