Pain, pain and more pain

Good morning
I had a partial hysterectomy (still have ovaries and cervix) with anterior and posterior repair 3 weeks ago and have a pulling sensation when I am standing. Is this normal? I also have bulging in the area between my vaginal opening and rectum. I dont know if the pains that I am feeling are normal menstrual pains or if I should be worried. I accidentally lifted my 5 year old neice the other day without thinking about it and am wondering if this is something due to that or partially from that.

Any ideas on how long one should wait before doing any light housework? I didnt really get any clear direction from my doctor as to when this couldbe done. I am going stir crazy not being able to do anything at home...feeling very lazy and dont like it one bit.

I think the pulling is normal, from what some women say on here. The bulging doesn't sound normal. And you woun't have menstrual pains because that's your uterus cramping, which is gone. Call your doc., tell him about the bulge and the lifting of the 5 year old.

Did you sign up for checkpoints in your options? They tell you in detail what you should or shouldn't be doing and all kinds of cool stuff about hysts.

And as far as stir crazy, I told myself, I can either get more adhesions or wait to get more done. One is temporary, the other is forever.

Go to upper right hand corner and click on control panel. Then look on the left for different options.

Pulling sensations are very common from what I have read - and I still get them this far out. It does get better.
I don't know if this helps but when you spoke of the bulge, it instantly reminded me of my external hemmoroids acting up.
As Kara has said, it's better to heal properly (be a little stir crazy) than pay the price of complications. When I did too much one day, I paid the price the next day. Working on a list of questions for your next post op appointment is a good idea. Checkpoints helped me too.
Best Wishes!
