It has been 1 year since my surgery, have question...

Since my surgery things have been ok, but lately I have been getting sharp throbbing little pains by my ovaries. Also sometimes it is uncomfortable durning sex. I was hoping someone could shed some light as to why I am feeling like this, and maybe it has nothing to do with the hyster. Thank You

P.S. without this board I would have been a wreck last year, you are all so helpful.

julie maybe you are ovulating? i was 3 weeks into my post op when i was getting a headache....i don't know if you experienced headaches but i did b4...no pain though. if you are still concerned after 2-3 days call the doctor...hope this helped.

Since you're only in your 30's, your ovaries "should" be in full operation for many more years, so it's important that they remain healthy. When you say you are "uncomfortable during sex" I don't know if you mean you feel pain in your pelvis, or vaginal irritation, or what exactly. But, the bottom line is, it would be best if you described both of these issues to your medical provider. Only he or she can diagnose the problem and treat it. I think it's great that you are "listening to your body." Please share what you "hear" with your doctor.
