Driving for First Time - 14 Days Post-Hysterectomy

I was determined to get behind the wheel today to run some errands (thankfully my daughter got herself in and out of her car seat on her own). Even though it felt great to be out and about, I took it slow and drove slow too. But, I still found myself walking around rather slowly. Even though you are technically allowed to drive at this point, is it normal to be afraid of getting hurt? I don't want to become agoraphobic, but I guess I should just take things at my own pace?

Completely normal to be afraid to hurt yourself (and very important to take it easy). Your body is healing and will be for a while. I had to drive a bit earlier than you (just past 1 week post-op) and I was so tired and I moved so slowly. Don't put pressure on yourself and be good to yourself. Allow your body the time to heal and don't overdo
