headaches at 3 weeks

I had my LAVH on May 19, so I am 3 1/2 weeks post op. Last Thurs. - Sat. I had headaches and I figured they were just hormonal since I kept my ovaries. That would have been around the time I would have had my monthly if I hadnt had the hysterectomy. I might be wrong. I guess I will just have to see if I have them next month.

I've had a lot of headaches, but sometimes do anyway. I went to my chiropractor today because usually when meds don't help he can. I'm sure all of the maneuvers with the stirrups during surgery and then re-coup time on the couch have played havoc on our spines. Not everyone is thumbs-up for chiropractors - I didn't used to be either, but have benefited a lot from mine.

headaches at 3 weeks

Hi,

I'm now in my 6 week post op from a LAVH and I only had the headaches in my 3rd and 4th week and then they stopped. I think it could have been from the surgery etc. I haven't had a headache since

I was relieved to see this post. I was looking forward to migraines following the surgery. I am now 3 weeks post op and have had very bad headaches along with the nausea and vomiting. I also have a resistant UTI, I am on my 2nd course of antibiotics for it. OTHERWISE, I feel GREAT. No more female issues, my incision and abdominal pain seems minimal unless I over do it. I will watch the headaches for another week before I call my Dr.

I hope the headaches will stop after the 4th week as it did for me. Let me know as i'm curious to know if it is something in the 3rd and 4th week that was causing them.

I thought as well that maybe I was doing to much, which I wasn't doing anything at all but for those two weeks I even slowed it down even more. Just sat around even more to see if my body was telling me something.
