Another Valentine princess returns

Hi everyone, I returned home from the castle last night. Was there at 5:30 a.m. for 7:30 surgery which was delayed about an hour because the doc was stuck on the freeway ice (freezing rain). I sneaked a peak at my pre-op chart and they had my mood assessed as calm/relaxed. Hyster Sisters definitely contributed to that. Surgery went well -- about 3.5 hours TVH with A&P repairs. 2nd day they removed the catheter but I couldn't pee. Yesterday they took it out again and I was successful. My main problems were drop in blood pressure (at its lowest 79 over 45) and hemoglobin (went from 13 down to 8). That made me feel a bit weak and dizzy, and I had a headache for a while in the castle. I'm home now and taking it very easy. Back to bed for this princess. Best wishes to all of you headed to the castle. I'm very happy to be able to toss out the pessary and heal, heal, heal. Looking forward to a more normal life once I've recovered. I had a fabulous doc, surgical team, and nurses.
