Nope wish I could of. I so want to see a hyster done. I know that is weird but I am very interested to see what they did, what was contected to what, where everything is right now. I tried to look on line, but only advertising tools. Someone said maybe my doctor videoed it!

If you really want to see the procedure try going to U Tube and type in hyterectomy operation. I watched a LSH procedure there because I was curious too! It was filmed at a medical center. It was pretty amazing. ilovegolf

Yes, I saw it! I love CSI and I loved the line "where is all her stuff?" It was great especially for all of us hyster-sisters.

I tried to watch the hysterectomy but got too grossed out. I can't help but wonder if the patient who was video taped knows that her surgery is on the web. I felt self-conscious enough going into surgery and being put under without thinking about everyone and their brother being able to watch!!!

Surgery Video

Ladies, if you really want to see a video of a hysterectomy, you can go to Resources on the HysterSisters home page, then click on Surgery Videos. I don't know that I could have handled it before my surgery, but it did explain a few things afterwards. The vaginal cuff, for instance. I never saw any dissolved stitches come out -- I guess because they stitch it from the inside.

Six and a half weeks post-op and packing for a 1,700-mile-round-trip motorcycle ride. Leaving Monday a.m. May 12th has been my goal date for a long time. There were days in the first 2 weeks when I didn't think I'd make it, but I'm feeling great and so ready for a change of scenery.

Enjoy the video! It's not as gross as you'd think.

Yah it was tough to watch and at the begining of the one I watched the doctor mentioned that the patient agreed to be the "Star" of the film. I did notice that 1. her full name is not mentioned. and 2. never showed her face. I do wonder if she got a discount on her surgery? I will also admit I didn't eat grilled meat for a few days.

I also watched that CSI (I love that show). It really isn't like that because all the organs fill in the space. A mesentery membrane surrounds each organ and it will stay within its position in our body but fill the space.
