6 weeks in and still wiped out.

This past Monday (12/16) was my 6-week mark for my TVH. I returned to work, (I have a desk job). I worked M, T and W, and was in pain and exhausted by Thursday. I called in sick, and proceeded to sleep for 8 hours throughout the day. Today, I am back at work, but feel woozy, dizzy and weak. Still feeling tired...

Is this just par for the course, I wonder?

Re: 6 weeks in and still wiped out.

I would say it is normal as you are adding work back in. Poor thing..... Are you taking any vitamins to help with energy? I am at week five as of this past Wednesday. I can't walk for as long as some ladies without feeling very weak towards the end of the day. Maybe you should see you doctor just to be safe. Hope you feel better soon. xx

Re: 6 weeks in and still wiped out.

I am 10 weeks today and whipped. I do not have near the ability to push myself like I had pre-op even thou I felt so crummy. I think the Holidays have a lot to do with it. We usually are more worn at this time of the year and throw our recovery in there...we don't have a prayer right now. Hang in there and rest when you need to and thank goodness we are on this side. Merry Christmas. . And a VERY Happy and HEALTHY New Year.

Re: 6 weeks in and still wiped out.

Almost a month for me and I cannot imagine going back to work. After I eat load the dishwasher, shower and poop I'm ready to call it a day. Seems like every time I get a stretch of "normal " energy I pay for it later ...
