New & 4 months post-op

Hi.... I am new to this and I was hoping for some help!

Had my surgery 4 months ago, everything out but ovaries and I still experiece period symptoms??? (breast tender and bloating) I am still VERY numb, still have tenderness in belly button area....and still have a swollen belly!!!! anyone else feel this???? Or am I just a crazy chick??? LOL LOL

If you still have your ovaries , they will continue with hormonal fluctuations. It may take them a while to settle down and getting used to the surgery you had, which is a big disruption to the body.

Swelly belly may last for sometime and usually goes away before the year is out.

Glad I'm not the only one! I'm 3 months post & have the same problems. I had to drive 5 hours Monday, round trip, for business & I hurt bad Tuesday. Feel like a pumpkin tonight! I was ready to go talk to my dr again, but it sounds like we just have to be patient. Glad we're heading into winter clothes & not summer!
